Immediately impose sanctions against Azerbaijan. The European Parliament to the EU

The European Parliament adopted 2 reports on foreign policy and EU security and defense policy. Artur Hovhannisyan, secretary of the "Civil Agreement" faction, reports that in each of these reports, the European Parliament calls on the EU.

• Immediately impose sanctions against Azerbaijan and suspend the memorandum of understanding on strategic energy partnership.
• Be prepared to impose targeted and individual sanctions against the political and military leadership of Azerbaijan, to suspend oil and gas imports in the event of any military aggression by Azerbaijan against Armenia.
• Strengthen the mandate of the EU mission in Armenia, increase its size, extend its term and deploy observers on the border with Turkey.
• Stop negotiations on a new partnership agreement with Azerbaijan.
