The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, during a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, assured the latter that the latest actions of the Iranian side against Israel were forced. It is reported that the parties discussed in detail the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East after the Israeli airstrike on the Iranian diplomatic mission in Damascus and Iran's response.
