Armenia participates in the NATO Regex 2024 staff exercises in Moldova

NATO's Regex 2024 staff exercises have started in Moldova, within the framework of which workshops are organized to train military personnel in accordance with Western standards, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Moldova informed on Monday, News.am reports.

In the Regex 2024 headquarters military exercises, several scenarios will be implemented in the current year. The first workshop took place from February 16 to March 1, the second one from April 22-26.

"The exercises were organized with the support of the NATO Joint Forces Command in Naples (Italy) and are aimed at training soldiers in accordance with Western standards of planning and conducting exercises, managing crisis situations, increasing the level of operational compatibility of forces in a multinational environment, and assessing it," the message published is on the Ministry of Defense website.

It was noted that the event will take place on May 20-24 at the Science and Military Remembrance Agency, from NATO partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Malta. , with the participation of about 30 representatives from the African Union (Ghana and Benin), as well as officers of the headquarters of the National Army of Moldova.
