Mohammad Taghi Shahcheraghi, head of the electoral headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced that almost 60,000 polling stations have been prepared in the country so that people can vote in the extraordinary presidential elections to be held on June 28.

According to "Detq", the Iranian state news agency IRNA informs about this.

An Iranian official said that some of these polling stations are mobile and people can vote in a total of 90,000 polling stations. According to him, equipment and accessories were sent to all states of the country to conduct pre-election activities in 3500 polling stations.

Let's remind that the extraordinary presidential elections in Iran will take place on June 28.

Early elections in the neighboring country were called after the Iranian presidential helicopter crashed on May 19 while returning from Baku, killing 8 high-ranking officials of that country, including President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
