Iran condemns the terrorist attack in Dagestan

Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nasser Kanaani, condemned the terrorist attacks that took place in Dagestan, including the cities of Derbend and Makhachkala, as a result of which several people were killed and injured.

According to "Detq", the Iranian pro-government "Mehr" news agency informs about this.

It is reported that Kanaani expressed his condolences to the government and people of the Russian Federation, especially to the families of the victims. He stated that Iran views any type of terrorism as a threat to human society and international security.

The spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized the need for serious determination and effective efforts by the international community to face this common threat.

It should be noted that on June 23 in Dagestan, more than fifteen policemen were victims of an attack by militants. Several civilians were also killed as a result of terrorism.
