"On June 21, in the Batabat tourist zone of Shahbuz region of Nakhichevan, not far from the border of Sisian, by the way, the second festival-convention/conference "Return to Western Azerbaijan" was organized. The organizers were the representative office of the President of Azerbaijan in the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, the Ministry of Education and Science of Azerbaijan, the Nakhichevan State University and the essentially state organization called the West Azerbaijan Community. It should be noted that this event is being held for the second time, the first was in November 2023, at the same place.

The published videos show tents from 11 regions of Western Azerbaijan - an interesting number, I think. The participants organized a symbolic march-pilgrimage to Kottam village, Salammalik railway station as symbolic gates of "Zangezur Corridor". The population of Sisian may be very enthusiastic about this information, because thousands of Azerbaijanis preparing to return to Western Azerbaijan have drawn the main route of the "Zangezur Corridor" connecting Nakhichevan and Azerbaijan through Sisian. The conference recorded in the final document that more than 300,000 Azerbaijanis were forcibly displaced from Armenia, most of them without any property compensation, more than 200 innocent Azerbaijanis were brutally killed, 300 mosques were destroyed to the ground, and more than 500 cemeteries were destroyed. By the way, after the first conference, the state-supported West Azerbaijan organization managed to organize community structures representing 277 settlements in 24 regions, where the list of citizens who want to return to West Azerbaijan is being implemented. At the time of publication, for example, more than 11,000 Azerbaijanis are listed to return to their native Sisian, which is being emptied of Armenians.
