Consul General of Iran has officially started its activities in Nakhichevan

Aziz Mansouri, the new Consul General of Iran in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, has officially started his activities. According to "Detq", this is reported by the Azerbaijani APA news agency.

It is reported that he arrived in Baku earlier and handed over his credentials to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. In Nakhijevan, the Iranian Consul General also had a meeting with the head of the political department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, after which he left for Nakhijevan.

A few days ago, before leaving for his mission, Mansouri met with Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and presented a report on his upcoming plans in the new working period of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nakhichevan.

At this meeting, Amir Abdollahia referred to the Iranian-Azerbaijani relations and emphasized the need to develop cooperation between the two countries through Iranian representatives in Azerbaijan.
